Dr. Haq completed his undergraduate education, medical school, and residency training at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. He subsequently completed a two-year advanced fellowship in geriatric psychiatry at UCLA. He is currently an attending geriatric psychiatrist at the Palo Alto Veterans Affairs Hospital and an affiliated clinical professor of psychiatry at Stanford University Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences. He has previously worked for the Los Angeles County Department of Mental Health Elderly Adult Division, where he performed home-based treatment for homebound elderly with serious psychiatric illness, in addition to the Panorama Garden Nursing Homes. His private practice, Bay Forensic Geropsychiatry, specializes in the medico-legal psychiatric evaluations of the elderly.\n
